Trading with Brazil, customs clearence tips

When you are shipping to Brazil, first of all you need to check if your receiver is a person (Individual) or a company (Business).

Talking about individual your receiver should have a CPF number (Individual Tax Number) but if you have a company in the other side, they should have a CNPJ number (Business Tax Number).

Before shipping ask for your receiver and request to him the number and add in your Invoice according to the type of your receiver.

Example of Invoice “header” for (Individual)

Complete Name: Bla Bla Bla

Tax Number: 000.000.000-00 (CPF)

Complete Address: Bla Bla Bla

Email: customer@domain.xx

Phone: (55)-(area code)-(fone number)

Example of Invoice “header” for (Business)

Company Receiver

Business Name: Bla Bla Bla

Tax Number: 00.000.000/0000-00 (CNPJ)

Complete Address: Bla Bla Bla

Email: customer@domain.xx
